I have posted this problem before but then it was an intermittent problem and I couldn’t define whether it was electrical or dishwasher problem. It now appears that it is a fault on the dishwasher. On the “normal” programme it washes for about half an hour, water gets hot then when it should drain it trips the RCD. Sometimes I can get it to finish the cycle when I switch back on but now as soon as I switch the socket on it trips again. Have spoken to Zanussi who say it will cost at least £112.99 for a one off repair. I have now emptied the water out through soaking it up with sponges. Any ideas what could cause this?
Re: Electrolux ESL63010 trips RCD half way through cycle
unfortunatly there is no simple answer. your machine has an earth fault. as an engineer i would use a meter to check for earth faults on various components
most likely is
1 leak (water spaying or leaking on electrics )
2 heater
3 motor
4 other (covers other components, broken wiring etc)
