I’m new to the forum and not having much success with the search facility so forgive me if I’m asking for help on something that’s already been covered. Maybe somebody could redirect me to a suitable thread.
After defrosting my Bosch KGV2604GB/02 fridge freezer it would not restart immediately but after a while it did restart but would cool down, switch off and warm to the point of thawing before switching back on again (about 5 hours).
I’ve done some research on the internet and it would appear that the trouble is due to an inaccessible malfunctioning thermistor. Various people have posted that it is possible to short out the thermistor. Unfortunately the PCB in my fridge freezer is slightly different from their’s in that mine is connected by 3 input wires on the right hand side whereas they had 4.
I would be grateful for any help to identify the correct wires.
