Hi I have a Samsung fridge freezer standard fridge over freezer model RL37LGMH .
the freezer works but the fridge is warm. Having read articles on line I believed it to be a fault defrost timer. I stripped the covers off and manually defrosted it. It was heavily iced up and it worked afterwards for around several weeks but is now warm again. I was going to replace the defrost timer but I cannot find one anywhere. Does this model have one ? or use a different system. I can find temperature sensors and a relay in spares but not a defrost timer. Any help would be appreciated.

It has a PCB no defrost timer.
If it was iced up And not covered in a white snow all over the defrost system will be working ok.

On this model the most common problem is the drain in the freezer blocks up.

This is normaly a non return valve sticking it is fitted at the back above the compressor and is just made of rubber. Trim it off a bit with a pair of scissors just enough to stop it sticking together.

Make sure you defrost the drain so the water can run away.
