Our GE side by side refrigerator was purchased in 2007 but the water dispenser has recently stopped working. The ice maker is still working and dispensing ice. Also when you press in the dispenser for water it makes a sound as if there is water however no water comes out, after a few minutes however a pool of water will form under the bottom at the front. Can you help?

It could be a number of things.
Water valve.
Tank.
Filter.
Hose.

More likely the pipework has split underneath .dependent of where you live we may be able to help out
