Bosch Classixx – sand/Grit type problem – more questions

Hi All,

Great forum I’ve learned a lot already! So I have read the info about the sand etc and have a few worries.

I think I have been a bad owner in the past and just started cleaning the spiners – and they are full every wash some of it is recognisable as sweetcorn and rice – other as sand/grit/scale!

The filters however – hardly ever seem to have anthing in them – this worries me surely (even though we rinse things – though noting the sweetcorn above did nto get there by magic – we must not have been good at this historically) there MUST be some things to catch. I can’t see any bad seating etc…

And then having removed the side the fill chamber (photo attached) appears to be clogged with food/scale – I dont seem to be able to remove this as there is some nozzle into the inside from it which is well fixed and wont turn or pull out easily (my lack of knowledge). So – how can this be removed, can it be cleaned ?
