Having been to the local kitchen shops for a replacement charcoal filter for my cooker de Dietrich cooker hood and having no joy at all (‘we only sell fitted kitchens love we don’t do any after-sales’), had a quick online and they seem very expensive. I need the charcoal kind for recirculation as I don’t have any outside venting.

I did find online a universal one for £10, and it’s a set of two and I had a look at the sizing and I could cut out the three bits I need from that set (and have one left for next time).

Would that be ok or do I need to buy a special De Dietrich one?

You will probably require the De Dietrich one in all honesty but I’ll need the model number at the very least to check it out for you. 😉

Re: Have to use the manufacturer’s cooker hood replacement?

    It’s for a cooker hood DHD159 XE12

Person I talked to on the phone earlier said the part number was 74X0998

Do you know anyone who does same day despatch? I need this urgently as others are not absorbing anything and my kitchen is not near a window so I can’t really cook. The people I talked to on the phone today said they had them in stock but it would take 5-7 days (maybe they using the French postal service? 8O).

    Thanks,
    Daisy

There is carbon filter listed is that part number and it’s priced at £27.40 excl VAT/carriage and you will have to use the original one from De Dietrich. If you want us to get you one just email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and we’ll get you one.
