(sorry posted this in the wrong section)

Having a hard time picking a gas cooker, FS 60cm gap, willing to spend up to £700.

I think I want all gas but duel fuel is an option too, I’ve looked at Sneg SUK61PX8 as John Lewis has it with free fitting, but would probaly take the 5 year care plan with it,as it looks as if a lot could go wrong with it? cooker, also looked at the Cannon CH60GPXF…I nearly went for a BUSH from Homebase for £242 including fitting!!! seemed to good to miss at that price, please tell me I have done the right thing in not going for that!

I have other items for a new flat to buy so that’s the reason I looked at the bush, would be good to get a deal, not if it means a oven that leaks heat etc.

Any help, greatly received, the Sneg or Cannon or some other?

    Hi

A Cannon over a Sneg every time 😀

Leave the Bush well alone 😉

For now Don perhaps but who knows what’s going to happen with service once Whirlpool take control of Cannon et all?

The Smeg’s not a bad machine at all and you can often get deals from the local indies on them.

Just looked at the Sneg fitting guide.

Think the Sneg is out as it says the bayonet can not be directly behind the appliance, the gap I have available is 60cm with the gas pipe coming out of the floor at about 10cm from the side cupboard?

Would I have this problem with fitting most other gas cookers, such as the Cannon?

Oh that would be just the same for Cannon I would guess. Bit of a sneg eg?
