Hi. My oven decided to trip the RCD when running over 150 degrees C. I thought it was a fan oven element so replaced it but it didn’t cure the problem. I then decided to test each element and found the problem persisted when I isolated them individually. I removed the 190 degree Safety Thermostat and tested the oven, it worked fine, refitted it and again it worked fine (only tested for about 45 minutes). Yesterday it was working fine for 1 3/4 hours on high heat and then decided to trip the RCD again. To me it sounds like an overheat problem, do you think it is likely to be the thermostat (replaced 18 months ago it seems to kick in and out) or could it be a faulty 190 degree Safety Thermostat. Any advice appreciated.
