Dishwasher runs on too long.

Hi, we have a Bosch dishwasher SGS43C12GB/15.For some time it has been running on too long in the last two rinses and will only move on and drain if I press the on/off switch. It also only gets hot on the final rinse and not during any of the washes although we normally only use the quickwash anyway. we have just replaced the capacitor as it was “popping” and was going to replace the control panel-or could it be the heater element or thermostat?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
