    Guys,

I’m trying to get my head around the issue of a Bosch washing machine that comes up with an E6 fault, I’ve checked for blockages but didn’t find anything. What’s frustrating is that I’ve not witnessed the issue myself, I’m going on what the customer says. According to him the machine seems to fault more often when there is a heavy load and less on a lighter load. Could the brushes be to blame? I’m not wanting to remove the machine to check because there are severe space limitations (they have an island in the kitchen that is literally 650mm from the machine. Any suggestions appreciated although have a feeling that the machine will have to be pulled out fully for this one 🙁

This heap of Smeg junk is usually the air chamber blocked, as E/fix said, or the pump knackered.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the advice, I hadn’t pulled the machine out so will go from there and let you both know!
