    Hi

We have a Bosch KV32320 Fridge Freezer recently has started to smell 😳 . At first we thought is some cheese somewhere and now we have scrubbed and cleaned the interior throughly but the fridge still smells 🙁

We are not sure why. The smell is typical of food gone off somewhere and stronger at the bottom of the fridge but we cannot locate the source.

Co incidentally the cooling fan inside has not been working recently and no can recall the fan working recently but it has been working before 😕 Previousy the fridge has performed faultlessy and we have not had to do anything to it. It is about 2 years old. the fridge is still working and the food is frozen and chilled, its just this odd smell and the fan not working…….

BTW we are thinking of getting an additional Fridge Freeze and were recently seduced by the Liebherr range, does anybody have comments re the brand?

    Any ideas?

Check the door seal below the milk bottle holder. Spilt milk can get behind the lip of the seal and smells quickly develop. 😕

Un plug the appliance, the have a look in the drip tray, mounted on the compressor (big black bottle at rear near floor) if the smell is coming from in the tray and you cannot remove to clean, put some dilluted bleach in.
The fan may only operate when the door is shut!
