The door is designed to be opened by push-button, however it is opening when the start button is pressed. Once the door has opened, the door opening mechanism continues to operate.
The door opening mechanism is a motorised four lobed cam and is integral with the safety switch assy.
All safety switches open and close crisply and work electrically.
Visual inspection of interface board and module revealed nothing.
Mag has continuity, is not shorted out and there is no evidence of burning or overheating. Thermal cut-out is ok.
The fan comes on (for the split second before the door opens) and there is continuity across the turntable motor. I only mention these in case this has some kind of safety cut-out which operates in case of component failure.
Any help gratefully received.
