    Hi folks, newbie here! The problem I have is that neither the grill nor oven are heating up, the fan comes on, the temp light comes on and one of the cleaning modes appears to give some heating. I have checked that the clock is set and is not in any auto cooking mode and I have replaced the main element (before I discovered that the grill wasn’t working either!). Through reading around I’m guessing that this could be caused by either the Thermostat (least likely?), the TOC (thermal overload cutout) or an oven changeover switch, but how do I find out which it is? My oven is a Neff B1422N0GB/01 and I’d be really grateful for any advice/help. Cheers, Jon

    If you don’t understand the product or know how to test, l’d suggest you walk away.

    Ok, a bit more info…I’ve just tested the old oven element that I removed with a multimeter and it was defunct! Could this have blown the thermostat or TOC? The reason I ask is that the oven (and grill!) still don’t work after installing a new element?
