    Liebherr CNES5066 BEEPING CONTINUOUSLY
Fridge and Freezer are working correctly but freezer displayed temperature resets to -28C every time that you try to set it to a different temperature. The displayed temperature can be adjusted by the arrows but resets after a few seconds. I have checked the thermisters and they are ok at 70K ohms and 10K ohms. I am begining to think that I need a new control board part no 6113425 – any ideas?

    Update on problem
After a month of suffering this problem, it started working properly again. The beeping disappeared and I was able to adjust the freezer compartment temperature. It has since returned to fault condition again. I now suspect a bad connection or a dry joint on the board. Has anyone else suffered similar problems? The Liebherr is about 6 years old.
    Cheers,

Hello, -28 would be the superfreeze temperature setting. You could have a pcb fault, but nobody is going to tell you that without looking at the appliance at least.
If you’re unsure, maybe the best course of action is to call out an engineer tbh.

    Hi,
Thanks for your post. I am going to look at the pcb and all connections as I think that there might be a bad contact somewhere.I am unsure why it is displaying the superfreeze temperature as I can switch this option on/off. I thought at first that the freezer had an o/c temperature sensor and that it was trying to reach a super low temperature which was causing all the beeping.
    Thanks again.
    James
