I’ve read the manual. If you had, you would know it doesn’t discuss temperatures in the manual, only different drying cycles for cottons, synthetics or woollens.

I guess I would advise the OP to use the synthetics program, by pressing the dryer button twice.

You’ll see that the manual is pretty brief, considering the amount of customisation available on each program. A bit more in depth discussion of program setup would be of value. Hence a glib RTFM is perhaps not the way forward in this case.

It’s a shame that the program symbols don’t correspond with standard UK symbols on clothing, that would make life easier. In any event, I’d be interested to know what actual drying temperatures the machine uses.

The question the OP asked was quite specific, it was ‘how do I change the temperature’,’ I need a cool tumble’?

They did not ask what the actual temperature was and AFAIK very few if any ‘USER’ manuals include this exact information. No items of clothing give specific drying temperatures on the care labels. They only list NORMAL (high), COOL (low) or DO NOT TUMBLE DRY. there is no real need to know the actual temperatures at all.

As you have stated the USER manual quite clearly tells you how to set the machine to a COOL tumble so my advice to RTFM was perfectly adequate.

If you really do wish to know what the drying temperatures are then you will need a SERVICE manual. For that you will need to be an Indesit company engineer, something I am not.
