I’m on the scrounge :-)I need to repair the board from this dryer. There is s surface mounted wire wound resister that has given up the ghost but it is not colour coded but have the values written on them. The values are unreadable and there’s also a couple of other things I want to check on the board. I don’t suppose anyone has access to the circuits. I know it’s a long shot. Thanks in advance

you will get a circuit diag of machine but not of the circuit board
is this resistor in series with the mains supply coming into the board ?

Thanks for your reply Electrofix. I don’t have the board with me to check but it’s irrelevant now. I’ve got an electronics engineer friend who does the more difficult repairs for me is repairing the board has just come back to me to say one of the chips, and a couple of other components have also been fried as well. He thinks the board has had a big zap of power to it which is not obvious to the eye. Beyond economical repair…..another one for the scrap heap I’m afraid 🙁
