Oven not working

    Hi,

    Would appreciate any help.

    Switched oven on this morning, but nothing is happening.
    No heat is coming to oven, no fan/light etc. But dial/timer works, its just as soon as I set the time nothing happens to the oven (heat etc, temp light doesnt come on) and an odd buzzing sound comes on.
    My only wonder if i can fix it as when we plug it in auto is flashing. The sound only comes on when in ‘manual operation’ mode.

    Selector switch possible it’s fried.

    Cheers Lee. That would explain things – how would I fix this? Issue for me is i’m in rented accommodation so it isn’t actually my oven.

    Get on to the Landlord or estate agent to get someone to repair it if it is not your oven.

    If you try to repair it yourself the Landlord may hold you responsible.
