    A model number and PNC might help to get you a clue about what it could be.

    COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT F9 ON MY OVEN MEANS.
    AEG COMPETENCE MODEL B8340-1 PNC 944181793.
    I HAVE TURNED IT OFF AT MAINS FUSE BOX,TURNED IT ON AGAIN AFTER 5 MINUTES AS ADVISED.
    EVERY TIME THE COOKING IS FINISHED AND FAN STOPPED,IT WILL COME ON AGAIN AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES THE OVEN IS WORKING PERFECTLY AND I CAN’T FIND ANY FAULT WITH IT.
    SURE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS. 😕 😕

    I’d suggest that you turn off the CAPS LOCK.

    F9 indicates micro processor resetting for some reason.

    Been through the process of resetting still the same thing happens.

    Perhaps then its time to get in an Engineer to look at it if you can’t sort it.
