    Hi,

I’d appreciate any guidance concerning the above Creda Dryer, the problem being it is heating but not spinning the drum. My first thought could it be the drive belt broken, but unlike my Zanussi washing machine I can’t locate it / if it exists.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

If it sounds like it’s running but the drum isn’t going around then you almosr certainly have a broken belt. This is not serious but most definitely not a DIY job as it invovles quite a major strip down to get the new belt around the drum.

Thanks for your advice Clive, as you say no easy access to replace drive belt unfortunatley, major strip down requires expensive labour bill no doubt.

Not at all, it’s around a 30 minute job for an expert and a likely outlay to you of around £75 maximum.

If thats of any interest to you to get the job done and to see if we have someone in your area to sort it for you go, try this link:-

Martin’s correct, also i and many other reputable repairers have a fixed labour charge regardless of length of time taken so it’s well worth fixing, just not really a DIY job unless you’re particularly adventurous of course 😉
