    Hi,

    I’ve recently disconnected my ESL 2435’s door from its cupboard panel to investigate a fault with the locking mechanism (resolved).

    Now I’ve come to return the door to its runners, and I can’t for the life of me work out how the two bolt pins fit through the door and into its oblong nut.

    Electrolux have kindly hosted an exploded diagram of the door structure here.

    My issue appears to be working out how the bolt (531A) fits through the runner guide (531) and into the weird nut (531B).
    Here are some images I’ve taken to explain my issue a bit more.

    this may help this is the fitting instructions for the door

    I think the instructions I need are on page 6 ‘Mounting the outer door’.

    I still can’t make out what I’m meant to do with this weird nut though.

    looked for pictures of that but no joy

    but as far as i can see you fit that part first then fit the outer door

    had one apart a few weeks ago but did not take any notice of that nut
