    Morning guys,

I wonder if any of you could offer me some advice. I went to see a WMAL 621P where the initizl problem was a non draining issue. Before I got to the property the customer tried to drain the machine by putting it on a spin cycle. The machine then overfilled flooding his floor. Now the customer is elderly and he may well have put it on a wash cycle instead of a spin, obviously the machine shouldn’t have overfilled anyway.

Removing a blockage in the sump I set the machine off to work, the spin cycle appeared fine, pump functioning, drum turning. On a wash cycle though the door locks, machine drains for about 90 seconds and then nothing, it doesn’t fill, the drum doesn’t turn. I’ve checked the pressure switch and associated wiring. Would you suspect the module has failed? My confusion is that we first had a blockage, easily dealt with but why would that cause the machine to overfill and then fail to fill? Am I missing something infrint of my eyes?

The machine is about 18 months old.

I could be it needs resetting after the pump being blocked, put few jugs of water in the drum and set it on the wash cycle, it then should pump it out and reset the pressure switch level empty .

However it may need to be reprogrammed, Iv had countless numbers of them that would stick in a non working state after a pump blockage, only was to resolve was to reprogram the module.
