    Bosch SMS53A12GB/51 dishwasher. FD9206.

    E17 fill fault – originally had an E24 code showing; cleaned out the pump and off it went. Seemed to be filling slow so took off the inlet hose to check pressure – all OK. E17 shows about 3 minutes into the cycle. Turned the pressure down and it works fine. 😕 Don’t understand how removing and refitting an inlet hose can alter the fault parameters.

    I’ve used Search and found half the answer – so any help on this please?

    Have you replaced the reed switch Steve?

    No.. that’s the thing – nothing done at all to the fill side. Just took the hose off as I couldn’t hear it filling and refitted it ; then E17. Turned down the pressure and it seemed to work OK. I am thinking somehow the inlet valve is at fault….

    Weird….. 😯
