ParticipantHi Guys,
Came downstairs this morning, fridge is lovely and warm with all my now warm Christmas food in it.
Stupid POS Bosch Classixx Fridge/Freezer has iced up again and the fan in the freezer isn’t running so I got out the steam cleaner and de-iced it. I pulled the freezer element cover off once it came free to get the ice out from behind there and get at the fan.
Noticed a bunch of connectors dangling in mid air. Three rectangular twin spade female (black, white, blue) and one white twin round pin connector.
I guess I pulled them out when I pulled off the cover.
There is a connector block on the freezer rear bulkhead with 6 spades in a row (for the 3 twin female spade connectors) and one twin round socket.
So, I know where to connect the twin round one but the 3 twin female spade connectors could go in any order and I don’t fancy just guessing in case I break something by connecting it up wrong.
The compressor runs BTW & the freezer gets cold but the fan doesn’t run for the fridge.
Does anyone know the order to connect these remaining 3 plugs ?
Thanks,
Wilson.

On most Bosch fridge freezers the plugs should fit on easily.
If any are difficult to fit on easily then it is in the incorrect position.
If you look carfully at the plugs you will see groves on the side of them that match the grooves on the sockets.

Hi Bob,
Yes, I did notice the grooves. Probably there to ensure polarity.
I was hoping that they be spaced differently (the grooves that is) to clue me in to what order to insert the plugs.
Now, if they’re all heater plugs and the row of spades are just here for power then so long as the polarity is correct (maybe not even) then there will be no problem where they go.
However, one of the plugs is certainly for the fan and may need a different voltage.
I’d really like to know the correct order to fit the plugs.
Cheers,
Wilson.

Bit more info. The plug I was able to plug in (the only one with round pins) is the freezer temperature sensor:

I now know the blue plug goes to the fan but I still don’t know which socket to plug it in to. The black & white plugs are probably for defrost heaters.
Cheers,
Wilson.
