A few days ago my New World NW601FP electric oven made a pop noise causing to blow the cooker fuse out in the consumer unit box. After replacing the fuse, the oven seems to working fine apart from the inside oven lamp now stays on permanently even when the oven switch/selector is on the off position.
The only way to switch the oven lamp off is through the mains socket.
Can anyone help or any suggestions?
Re: New World NW601 FP oven lamp stays on permanently
Thanks for the advice. I have removed the oven switch selector and one of the contact seems to be damaged (gone black with residue) Managed to find online a new oven switch selector replacement for £10 and have place an order for one. Hopefully this should solve the oven lamp problem.
