    I have a 5 year old Hotpoint FDL 570.
The dishwasher is failing to work after about 1/2 hour of cycle the following lights flash. SALT, RINSE AID, AND STOP/PAUSE.
Any ideas of fault and rectification.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Many Thanks
I would assume that it is either a heater fault or the NTC Thermistor
Are these parts available and could I fit them myself.
I cant seem to find anything about the NTC Thermistor on this site.
    Any Info greatly appreciated.

Both the heater and the circuit board are known weak points on Indesit appliances. The NTC is hard wired to the pcb which needs programming. The heater is part of the main pump assembly and is not a quick, simple fix.

The heater would need testing for continuity/resistance before you even think of buying any parts.

The heater is around £50, the main pcb is £70.00 but needs an £18 smart card and a £100+ card reader to programme it.

There is also a recall on that dishwasher. Go on hp website and put in the details and check it.
