I have a Zanussi essentail AAA dishwasher. Last year the pump got blocked by one of my wife’s hair clips (how it got there I’ll never know). Had a local engieneer come out and unblock it. He did roughly show me where the pump was located, but can’t remember. Now the machine has the same happen to it again and I want to unblock it myself. Does anyone know where abouts it located? I’ve included a photo of the bottom of th dishwasher with the cover off. So any advice on the the pump is and how to disconnect etc would be great!

You have’nt included the said photo. You haven’t even included the model number of the appliance.
But i’ll try to help explain in the simplest terms possible, there should be 2 hoses connected to the appliance, a fill hose which is connected to a tap and the one you need to be looking for is a corrugated hose pipe from the appliance that goes to your drain, the pump is connected to the end of the hose in the machine. Careful working on the appliance, POWER OFF & watch out for sharp edges etc
