    Hi,
    My candy cmd146 washer dryer has an intermittent fault but has now become increasingly more frequent…

    When I close/lock the door and set wash program it doesn’t appear to know the door is closed so nothing happens, on occasions it may actually start after about 10 minutes but generally if I open the door and give it a bit of slam the machine starts but now it just doesn’t want to start no matter how many times I try.
    Any ideas on what it could be as I don’t really want to have to buy a new machine as it washes great and other than this has never caused any problems

    At a guess, the door lock iffy sounds most likely.

    Was hoping for some ideas, what I’m looking for? Can it be fixed? Costs maybe

    Cheap as chips really so probably worth even just taking a punt on it.
