MARRA
ParticipantHi all
As this is my first post I would just like to say thanks for all the help and support I have gleaned from the vast array of topics and threads I have read on the site in support of my household appliances over the last few years 😀
Unfortunately over the last few days my ISE 5 has developed a grumbly drum and I would appreciate a few pointers on the spare parts for the bearings and tub seal, as I can’t seem to find any previous posts in the forums. The only info I can find anywhere on the machine is :-
ISE 5 1600RPM 2100W
NN1647CV4
Ser. No. 0061680800053005000ZHoping you can help
Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi Marra,
If you drop a line to Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk he should be able to sort those parts out for you, offhand even I can’t find them but, in fairness, they are not commonly used ones.
They should be stock though.

Hi Kwatt
Thanks firstly for your speedy reply to my query. I did as you suggested and contacted the spares dept. who came back to me almost as quickly as you had with the necessary parts. I ordered straight away, received them yesterday and spent all day (really 😯 )stripping the machine down, replacing bearings and building it back up.
After giving it a service wash, it’s just coming to the end of its first wash proper and its as smooth and as silent as the day it was born!!!
It’s not a job for the faint hearted but so rewarding to repair it instead of just throwing it out and buying new, the essence of ISE’s business model I suppose.
So a massive thank you to your good selves at ukwhitegoods for your time and knowledge. Another satisfied customer 😀January 11, 2015 at 8:29 pm #423320iadom

It gets better with practise, I have done 6 or 7 on that model, takes just over an hour. 😉
Leave the motor connected to the drum at all times and lift the whole assembly out through the front. 8)

Took me 6 hours when I did it on our Beko and I was knackered at the end of it. Last hour was re fitting the kitchen cupboard door I knocked off when the drum assembly went one way and the case went the other 😳
