I know we have touched on this subject before but I’m darned if I can find it using the ‘search’ facility 😕

Now, I went to a customer today that uses these ‘Ecoballs’ every time and has done so for several years. Her son has sensitive skin and he cannot wear clothes washed in the modern detergents so that was the motive for using them. According to the customer they successfully clean even the most ground in dirt and stains and last up to 1,000 washes before you need to replace them ❓ ❓ ❓

Now here’s the funny bit……….They also use the “Anti-limescale Ball” (from the same company) as well in with each wash! Sales pitch from the manufacturers states “Saves on expensive repair and maintenance costs!”……………..and the reason I was called out to fix the machine was that the heater had scaled up so badly I could not withdraw it from the back of the drum. I had to remove the inner drum first to free off the heater retaining plate before I could shift the darn thing, such was the state of the scaling. It cost them just a tad under £95 for me to sort it for them :rotfl:

So if anyone would like to try out these ecoballs then they are just over £35 to buy and I for one am not convinced they work 😕 .

But the Anti-limescale Balls at £9.95????…now they are definitely worth avoiding :rotl:
