Smeg dwi1612c type 12043

Hi I have a smeg dwi1612c type 12043 dishwasher and when I put it on the plates cycle that supposedly only 90 minutes long the cycle took 5 hours, this has happened numerous times .I’ve tried power off for an hour and cleaned the filters and also held down the p button for 5 seconds to reset it but nothing helped. Also when I opened the door to check inside during the cycle it was red hot . Any help would be appreciated.The buttons on the dishwasher from left to right are described below
1- a spray icon,2- glasses,3-plate/dish a letter B and number10 .4-plates/dishes .5- pots/pans and then a P button.
