Smeg Df410S Dishwasher

Hi all,

The Smeg Df410S Dishwasher works ok usually but continually stops and gives an E6 error
with water left in the drain well and sometimes a bit higher.

If i reset the machine by opening and closing the door it generally continues to the end of the program.

I have checked the drain pump and hose and it all looks clear. Not sure what else to try. I do have a spare set of the electronic panels- from an earlier repair, and I am not sure whether to replace these.

Any suggestions welcome.
