The above machine will lock it’s door, fill for a few seconds, it will then put on the pump for a few seconds and drain out the water it filled with. A padlock symbol in the display then goes out, the pump stops, padlock symbol illuminates again and machine fills for a few seconds.
This process then repeats continually.
I’ve changed the module, still exactly the same!
Any ideas?

Had one like this the other day, I also changed the module but it didn’t fix it. From doing a search on here it seems that its a motor fault.

Run the self diagnostic test? Are there any error codes?

Thanks Ray.
That’s my fear. At no point have I seen the motor turn. Have you ordered a motor yet?
No error codes displayed Chris. Can you tell me how to enter diagnostics?
Much appreciated both

No, from memory the motor was around £100+vat from connect and they didn’t have any stock.
The customer was in a rush to get it sorted so got a new machine.Ray

This machine is a 9kg black model that was quite expensive for a Beko. Cust MUST have black so does want it fixing. Looks like I may have to bite the bullet and order the motor – wish me luck!
If I do fit it I’ll let you know the outcome
Thanks

Don’t change motor :eeek:
Change 2844290100 INPUT IMPEDERENCE INDUCTOR first, its mounted at back down the bottom, to left hand side.
Square unit with cable connection to it.January 28, 2015 at 7:46 am #424055jason1970

Motor is out of stock at moment – no UK stock – so that may be lucky for me! I’ll take your advice and let you know the outcome.
Thank you for the reply!

The 2844290100 INPUT IMPEDERENCE INDUCTOR is also out of stock in the UK, customer not prepared to wait so job completed without a repair.
Thanks for all the advice, I’ll put this one down to experience!

For the future:
Usual Beko way of entering the diag mode:
Selector switch to cotton program, turn on. Should display an error code.
Prob get F11 or F13, F11 is faulty motor, F13 is faulty motor PCB
The motor should be easier to test, it’s a standard BLDC induction type, so should get 3 lots of the same coil readings and also megger to the motor case. However they use a hall sensor for accurate speed control, this will need some more detail testing (easy if you have done before) if these are OK then go for the motor PCB, the inductor can be tested for open circuit, it sits in the neutral supply. It can also be momentarily by passed (for no more than a second) and will indicate if faulty or not.
Hope this helps guys
