Hotpoint stuck on drain?

    WMUD942, not that old.
    Customer cleared a small pump obstruction but said it still made a noise when trying it again.

    Checked pump and filter, the pump is running smoothly but that is all the machine will do.

    Set to any programme and the pump starts to run, it does nothing else, no fill, no motor action on spin, just continuous pump out. ❓

    No error messages of any kind, all insulation checks perfect.

    It does point to a main pcb failure but I have not seen this fault before on one of these.

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    may not have seen this fault on these but have had countless triac failures keeping pumps or valves on
    worth a check it may be sensing the wires to the pump before starting

    I suppose one other possibility in theory is the pressure switch sticking on overfill but can’t see how that could have happened, he didn’t tilt the machine to drain the pump. :con:
