KeymasterI have a built in fan oven which I’ve been told was bought in B&Q.
There are no makers names on it, but I’ve been told that it might be Proline. There are several numbers on it, I don’t know which is the
model number:SOGH W(A0200) Gunkol
230-240V ac 2800W/3050W
22713S18/RO1
PRO Nr: A02004GB01
A0200401 0903 08825The element went on fire, so I need to know where to get a replacement cos none of the spares shops I’ve tried recognise any of the reference numbers
Thank you

Hi Morag,
this appliance is produced by Teba and made in Turkey, which element do you require, is it the fan element or the grill element.Cheers Bob.

Hi Bob
Thank you for replying.
Not sure to be honest. It was the grill element that went on fire, but the fan oven isn’t working anymore either. Maybe both?
How would I be able to get them?
Thanks

It may well be if the grill went on fire it was caused by a build up of grease on it and not actually catching fire,It would be advisable to get an engineer out to check the appliance just in case it is just a minor part.
have you made sure that the clock is set correctly ?
I also have the parts in stock for this appliance.
hope this helps

Hi Bryan
Dont think grease was a problem, it was probably the first time the grill had been used!
Doesn’t have a “clock” unless thats a technical term.
The first question every engineer I’ve phoned asks is “what make is it?” & when I say that I don’t know, they just tell me to find out & phone them back.
The oven came with the flat, & the guy I bought it from doen’t have any of the paperwork or remember what make it was. Just that he bought it from B&Q. B&Q told me that it was probably a Proline Colonial, but have had trouble find out anything.
Thanks

KeymasterMorag,
It is Gunkol, that is the brand just as Bob said. It is made by Teba and, if it’s the same element Dave’s been after for a while, there’s serious stock issues with them.
Elements are made from metal and a ceramic powder, they will not ignite unless there’s something on them. Or, of course, you get them up to furnace temperatures, but realistically it would have to be an external substance that caused any flames.

Grease builds up on elements that are not used, especially if the oven is used for roasting. I suppose the fire may have damaged the oven thermostat, wiring etc.

Cheers to everyone that answered.
Looks like it might be less hassle to look for a new oven then!
