    Hello,

We were left the above 6kg machine in a house we bought which I think is only 3-4 years old…

It appeared to work ok at first but after being used a couple of times it flooded while not in use and the drum seems to be filling up itself when it’s not on…

The house was empty for about 3 months and I suspect some sort of solenoid valve has seized up?

I think it’s leaking from the door seal but it looks ok – would this be expected if it’s filling up and not on with the drum being pressed against it?

Any idea when to look at first? – drain hose is fine as is the filter but not had chance to take apart further yet.

    Many thanks.

if machine id filling up between uses there is ony 2 ways it can happen

1 inlet valves machine will fill with clean water much like a leaking sink tap with the plug in. therfore you will find it full of water

2 drain hose backfill from the drain hose due to bad plumbing. machine will fill with dirty water from sink. raise hose to stop it

Thanks for that, it’s clean water so looks like the solenoid valve…

I ordered one using the model number and it looks the same but the electrical connections are different – the one I bought has 4 large spade connectors and the one on the machine uses 2 much smaller plugs – It didn’t say I needed to modify anything so assume the part is incorrect??
