    I have an ISE23W

(I note ISE are currently in closed for buisiness)

The machine still works however I have 2 problems

    1. it is now incredibly noisey when spinning. It sounds like some kind of bearing may either be going or just need oiling.

Can anybody offer any advice on likely repair requirements and whether it may be cost effective. Where is the oil hole?

    2. The basic design fault of this model has struck again (I already had this repair once under warranty) and the main water inlet (the black plastic/rubber concertina-e pipe thingy) to the drum is starting to leak due to chaffing of the main drum on the part. Currently I have caught this early enough to bodge it and refit my protection system, but are spair parts now avaialble as ise are now closed.

    Thanks

There is no ‘oil hole’ on this or virtually any washing machine bearings.

The bearings are not expensive and are quite a straightforward change if done in good time.

With reference to the hose chafing I always stretch the small spring at the back, this helps to prevent the drum catching the dispenser hose.
