F&P GW712 error code 049 – don’t think thats the problem

Washing machine died mid cycle, would not drain, power it on and straight away beeps every second, it gives me the fault code 049 cold valve, I checked it looks all good.

If I hit start as it beeps at me the licked lid light comes on and stays on, lid remains unlocked.

I was able to drain it in diagnostic mode by hitting the regular button repeatedly, the pump/motor comes on for a few seconds makibg a loud whining “I’m strugling noisn” drained a little then stoped. If i manualy spun the drum while pressing regular the pump/motor would stay on untill I stoped.

The pump/motor has been making loud whining noises for a good 6 months so I’m assuming its finaly decided to end it.

Im assuming there would be alot of crap in the pump also as I doubt the washer has had any one look at it for some years (I share it with my neighbor in our accomidation) and technicaly are “not meant to attemp to fix suchs things” but maintenance will take much too long to come fix it :/

Edit: also add when pressung the buttons to activate hot or cold solinoids the led stays on for half a second and nothing happens
