    I’m not that clued up on the white goods industry and want to now a little more about the brand Maytag, I know the’re pretty well known over in the states but can anyone fill me in on how they are perceived in the UK, or are they mostly sold under other brand names? and can anyone tell me who are there direct competitors are in the UK?

    Refrigeration is sold branded but not any laundry or dish products to my knowledge.

    Whirlpool with the US range of appliances would be the most obvious competition on laundry.

    Dish, no idea.

    Refrigeration, loads. Almost any one of the manufacturers that carry a side-by-side or other US sized appliances.

    Their ‘Euroline’ Front loader washers and dryers are Asko produced in Sweden. As is their most expensive dishwashers but we notice a cheaper dishwasher is now out who’s origin is unknown.

    They make the side-by-side (American style) fridge freezers for Bosch/Neff/Siemens and the quality is very good! 😀

    I have done Maytag in the past and been dumped with out any explanation. Work was past by ISDAL.
