    Hi,

I have a WMFG821 which sometimes but not always goes to the “1 min” remaining scenario but never finishes, I still have a Aqualtis stashed somewhere with the same problem.

I have searched for this problem & find the solution should be a PCB or pressure switch but I changed both & still same, in fact both original parts have been refitted to another WMFG821 and show no issues.

Cleared & replaced pressure switch tube, checked sump but no success,
my only other idea is a poor connection, if that I have little chance as its intermittent.

Anyone had this and resolved it?

    Cheers Steve

    BTW

When i posted this the “related topics” showed another thread for similar problem. The heater element, well it does heat but will check insulation to make sure & advise.

i,ve found usual the heater or the drain hose to low or stuffed down the standpipe works on some programmes but on others it sits all day and doesnt finish, jj

Hi Johnny, thanks for reply….will double check heater, maybe it’s leakage rather than failure that’s causing the problem. A nice error code would help though, crappy software developers if it can’t detect an error on the heating element!

    Will advise

i would reckon its the drain hose to low thats the problem rather than the element.

Hi Johnny thanks for reply again, what do you mean by drain hose to low? If it’s too low would it just gravity drain constantly?

I got the answer….petrol is cheap, maybe I should just torch torch it! lol. But then that would be giving up…and I aint doing it!!

    Laterz Steve
