ParticipantHello,
I have a zanussi ZDT12011FA integrated dishwasher that has got a problem! Typically it has just come out of its 1yr warranty period last week :rolls:
I would appreciate any help on the following problem,
The programme runs fine water enters the machine and you can hear it washing and you hear it drain away, It then stops and emits an audible alarm! The Crockery is still all dirty when you open the door. This problem only occurs on the long wash programs, I just tried it on the short pre wash programme and it worked fine which is very confusing!! I regularly clean all the filters and often use a dishwasher cleaner. I have checked the sink spigot and the drainage pipe they are all clear. I am not sure if it’s problem with the drying function of the cycles as the pre wash won’t have this function.
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance.

Most likely the pressure sensor is faulty, they give a lot of bother on this model & theres a modification kit available for them to resolve the problem.

Hi Seamy,
Thanks for your reply. Is this something I could do myself or would you advise I use a engineer. If I could do it myself are the modification kits easy to get hold of. Thank you.February 19, 2015 at 8:09 pm #424764Seamy

Are you sure its outside warranty, thought integrated appliances always had a 2 year guarantee, check it out first. Not sure if the mod’ kit is available to general public.

Yep, they are the authorised manufacturer repair service.

We’ve this same model. It just stopped working with an alarm sounding. The manual says the alarm indicates anti-flood device activation. Reading online people recommend tipping the machine back at a 45 degree angle to drain out water. This resets the machine.
Unfortunately with an integrated dishwasher emptying like this is not trivial (it’s screwed into the cupboard!)
16month old machine… should Zanussi offer to install this sensor kit you speak of? (if that the cause of my problem here)
