Hotpoint Fridge Freezer FFA47X display unit Flashing

:rolls: Hi I am new to this forum and don’t know how to put the message on the forum board. I hope I am doing it right.

Frost free fridge freezer Hotpoint model FFA47X . The display unit is flashing, some times it completely goes off then back on. Motor comes on periodically and then goes off and on again. I tried to set the time a few times but same thing happens again and again. Please any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
