ParticipantHi,
I am looking for some advice.
My Baumatic B180ss oven seems to be dead.
Cannot get any life out of the grill element, oven element, FAN and light.
I have powered the oven off at the mains and back on but still no joy.
The clock is showing fine and is not flashing as it does after a power cut.
Any help would be great.
Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the advice.
Would you say it is worth getting someone out or is it time for a new one.
The oven is over 5 years old

Hi
That depends on you.. Cost with the manufacturers is £129 inc all parts.
Local engineer (depends on where you are) plus they may not know where to get the parts.

Check your clock is not set to Auto function. Expensive mistake that happens weekly.
Switch off and back on, set time, you should get a symbol on display, looks like u with lines above.February 27, 2015 at 9:46 am #425151nicenswift

Hi,
I have checked the clock and it has the U with 3 lines above.
Do these oven have such a thing as an internal fuse that could have blown ?
Reason I ask is that the inside light will not even come on when just this is selected ?
Many thanks to everyone so far for great advice.

Hi,
Just like to say oven is now fixed and many thanks to all who gave good advice.
The problem was the selector on the left hand side had burned out and had to be replaced.
It was a friend who is an electrician that spotted it and I picked up the part from ebay for 14.99.
😀
Again many thanks
