    Hiya, some advice please…

As the thread title says, I have an integrated Baumatic BDW13 which has an E4 error code.

Someone came to look at it today and said the wash motor was leaking, causing the float to rise and activate the cut-off switch, making it show the E4 code. I had a look and saw that inside the bottom of the machine had got water in it and the bloke advised me to just get a new dishwasher. He didn’t charge me to look at it either, which was good of him.

The question is, would it be cheaper and easier to get a new dishwasher or to get a new part fitted? I’ve Googled it and found a new recirculation pump (I assume that this is the same thing as a wash motor) going for £166.99.
