I’m guessing you mean the mains filter or suppressor. 😉
If the display is totally dead it could just be poor connections between the facia/control pcb and the main power pcb.
If all connections are sound then both pcb’s need to be visually examined for any obvious component failure.
If there is nothing obvious it would point to main pcb failure but a fault such as you describe is very rare indeed. This machine is generally very reliable on the electronics side.
