Out of interest has anyone ever had any success using a reader and data card to program one of these appliances. From our own perspective we never have and chatting to a few others it appears they have’nt either. Now the process is not rocket science by most of the time the likes of Connect and whoever never seem to have stocks of these cards anyway.

My curious nature makes me think that as the manufacturer has provided a solution to enable others than themselves to accomplish this job by this method they have made the process available outside manufacturers service.

So has anyone used this on a regular basis with ongoing results ?

as long as you get the correct smartcard for the appliance you should have a good success at programming the modules.

Have never tried tbh. If it’s under 5 I just advise them to get hotpoint out. Or use Emw
