Whirlpool ADG7540 not finishing cycle

Hi,
I have a whirlpool ADG7540 and it doesnt finish the cycle, it just beeps constantly.
When you open the door to stop the beeping its full of steam.
The light on the door flashes 4 times then stops and then repeats the flashing.
I have to hold the power button to stop the flashing and then you can shut the door without it beeping again.

Also when you start the dishwasher it beeps twice, then does the above.
The dishes are clean but just beeps so can see its not finishing some part of the cycle.

Any ideas before I call someone out??
