I was hoping for some assistance from you professionals and advice on whether a novice can repair the door on a candy dishwasher, model cd622a
Serial number I think is 32192007 0341 4973 if that means anything to anyone?
The door has gone slack and slams down when open so I assume there is a problem with the springs or a related part and wondered if anyone could explain if I can do this repair?
I have no knowledge about repairings dishwashers and am not even sure how to access the door mechanism so if someone could provide an idiot’s guide that would be amazing!
I had a quote from someone to come and look at this but the quote made me think I could nearly buy a new dishwasher for £50 more so would prefer not to have to do this if possible.
