    Hello

I am trying to reverse the doors on a Hotpoint FUFL1810G fridge freezer so that the hinges are on the left.

When I try to switch the top metal hinge over, it does not fit into the hole provided! Also, when I move the centre hinge, I will have to remove a screw for it to fit!

I have spoken to hotpoint and they have said that the hinges can be used either side but couldnt say any further how to do it without sending an engineer round (almost £100!) and the instructions just tell you to transfer everything to the other side.

The only way I can see this being carried out is by filing or sanding the top hinge so that it fits, and by removing the screw near the centre hinge.

Please could anyone provide me with some advice!

    Thank you!

    Hi

Instructions here page 5 is the one you need.

That said the top hinge either turns over or there may be a left side one supplied with the appliance. As for the others yes you will need a drill as per the instructions.

    HTH 😀
