Here in Southern California, our Magic Chef brand refrigerator/freezer is giving us problems. The freezer unit at the top is covering all the frozen items inside with a coating of what can be described as a layer of fine snow. The frozen food is not compromised, but the “snow” is a problem. You have to scrape the snow off the package to see what it is. The unit below where we keep milk and fresh vegetables is working okay. Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks, Michel.
If it’s snow type icing you’re getting then it wil be air getting into the compartment almost certainly. Check the door seals and that the door is sealing correctly first of all.
