Just been to fit a new module to this machine.. Nothing in display and looks as though no power. Checked supply etc. and power to module, fit module supplied by connect and the same fault.. though new module does have a green sticker on? espares?

My question is have I missed something on the machine or have I been sent a dodgy module?

is the old module totally dead as well ?

would not be the first time i got faulty module from connect. the one i had had been damaged by someone else and returned to connect who just put it back in stock

    Thanks for the link Jem

It is a common fault on Whirlpool boards then? I have a few dryers with the same fault.. Thing is I have bought a new board from Connect and it is the same fault.. So not sure if I have missed something or Connect have sent me a dodgy board? it looks like it has been returned from some one else.. not the most difficult thing to swap the plastic container!

I have done quite a few, put an ohmmeter across the resistor, if it reads a fair bit higher than the 22 ohms then it has failed, if you examine the inductor carefully you may spot a small amount of yellow/white gunk coming out of the side (not easy to see).
